Mark Asman

Mark is truly a global aquaculturist with citizenships in the US, Canada and Australia, and he has been in the aquaculture game for over 25 years. After graduating from Humboldt State University in California with a science degree in Fisheries Management, Mark has lived and worked abroad for most of his career in Chile, Canada, and Australia.

Mark's last role was as COO for Tassal in Tasmania, Australia's largest aquaculture company. Prior to Tassal, Mark was the General Manager for Marine Harvest Canada.

Mark's range of experience covers all areas of farming including broodstock programs, hatcheries, marine farms, primary and value added processing. Mark's emphasis is overall business management and creating an organization and culture focused on the bottom line.
